Mine gas description:

The main component of gas is methane (CH4), which is a colorless, odorless, odorless, and flammable gas. Explosion conditions: the concentration is 5%~16%, and the oxygen is more than 12%. It will explode in case of an open flame or at a temperature of 650 to 750 °C. 9.5% has the highest explosive power; when the concentration is greater than 16%, it will not explode when burned. Mainly produced by coal or rotten plants, existing state: absorbing and free. Gas is the first natural enemy of coal miners in coal mines. Due to various reasons such as geology, environment, air, and complex workplaces, gas with a certain concentration will explode when encountering an open fire, which is the main reason for mine disasters. Therefore, the development and utilization of gas resources are of great significance both from the point of view of safety and economy.

 

Mine gas generator set introduction:

Mine gas generator set is based on mature internal combustion engine technology, uses coal mine exhaust gas as fuel to drive gas engine to work, and combines the characteristics of coal mine gas to transform diesel generator set. From the original fuel oil to burning gas, the engine drives the generator to run to achieve the purpose of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. Requirements for gas of Lvhuan mine gas generator set:

■Within 1m from the gas inlet valve of the gas unit

◎Gas temperature ≤ 40℃;

◎Gas pressure 3 ~ 20kpa, pressure change rate ≤ 1kpa/min;

◎ H2S ≤ 200mg/Nm3;

◎For gas with CH4 volume content ≤ 30%, the sum of CH4 and O2 volume content ≥ 28%, O2 volume content ≥ 16%;

◎Moisture content in gas ≤ 40g/Nm3;

◎Impurity particle size ≤ 5μm, impurity content ≤ 30mg/Nm3;

If the content of sulfur and ammonia in the combustible gas is high, it will not only seriously corrode the spark plug electrodes, but also increase the acid value in the oil, corrode the internal parts of the unit, and at the same time easily generate deposits, which will increase the wear and corrosion of the engine.
